Most of my brides can give me the names of 5-8 flowers that they like and know of. Peonies, roses, dahlia, ranunculus and eucalyptus are names I hear a lot. And there’s a reason for that—they are gorgeous! But, they’re also super common—at least in the wedding world. This is my plea to think outside the box. Or at least trust me to guide you outside the box a bit. Don’t worry, I’ll hold your hand. :)
Have you seen a hellebore? Smelled a freesia bloom? Been intrigued by a king protea? Swooned over a sweet pea?
There are SO many unique and stunning blooms to choose from in the flower world that I want to push you a bit to consider them. These less well-known blooms could be just the thing to take your bouquet from bland to bombshell.
Feeling like you don’t know where to start? Breathe. That’s why you’ve got me! You don’t need to know the flower names-- that’s my job. I love to take your inspiration images and see what you love and then make it more personal—more you! One way I can do this is by incorporating blooms that not everyone uses that still fit into your vision and vibe. I want your wedding to be something you look back on for years with happy memories and the floral design is a big part of that. Grab my hand, let’s make something memorable! You never know, I may introduce you to your new favorite flower (its happened several times)!
